I was more thinking that the supports and covering do not look as though they’d withstand a drone strike, rather offer shade protection to the crews. Which is not without merit.

In the desert, any shade helps…
Although the basic structures don’t look to be more formidable than for deflecting a basic time fused drone dropped grenade. Any dropped ordnance with a contact/impact fuse will cause a problem.
