Reflection on the hatch.
Blue light also travels less at night, so it is not as visible at a distance. Red light is more intense and can be seen at a greater distance.

The inside of the ramp is actually usually painted the overall Sinai Grey colour, the smaller door you can just see the edge of is usually painted off-white, as I believe, is the rest of the interior.
