It’s an Apu

During peace time Mount Hermon is a beautiful ski resort. It usually starts snowing in mid December but it came early this year

Barthass I appreciate your concern for the copyright issue. I would love to see a review of that Desert Eagle publication about the Puma. Do you find is helpful?

I thought I had shared this to the Puma reference thread but anyway, there is one:

Nikos, that is great! I see a bank of batteries (two disconnected grounds) the mechanic is sitting on the lid of the container so is this an APU or the primary engine starter? Not sure what that is behind the red door, it looks like a tap handle painted red? I think this is not a HAZMAT unit unless the second unopened part of the container has something to do with that but no matter these details are great to see for the modeller. Thanks for finding this photo.
For anyone interested in the often depicted religious refernces.

Here is a question. From what I am seeing, some troops have black boots, while others still have brown boots. Is this an active vs. reserve thing? If not, what is the reasoning for one or the other?

In my (British) AFV experience, that sort of thig is usually an external fire extinguisher handle for an internal bay fire.

This is primary engine starter, behind the red doors there are connectors to slave start the engine from other vehicles, something like start car from another if Your battery is out. I can highly recomended the book from Desert Eagle together with “Israeli wild and cruel cats: Puma” from Robert Manasherob. Puma is on my workbench right now, so both books are very helpfull

Brown boots used to be worn by special forces but photos show them being worn by others as well.

I have Israeli wild and cruel cats but I think I may have to splurge and get the Desert Eagle Pumas well. I just received my Puma and am really looking forward to the experience. What lit is yours with the cream plastic, the Hobby Boss one is pale grey, the figure looks the part as well, nice work.

I don’t like Hobby Boss kit, but I like challenges and detailing  So this is a resin conversion from Legend Productions, base kit is an AFV Club Centurion, road whelels comes from Takom Merkava Mk.2, tracks from QuickTracks, Puma will be also equipped with Carpet launcher, also from Legend.
