H.P.
Thanks for the great pics
Let hope and pray the crew were OK.
I think its superficial damage, because in case of modular armour, the modules are always not that solid as built in armour (ex Abrams, Challenger). Its looking bad, but if base of the turret was not penetrated then crew will survive and tank can be repaired in the field workshop and after few hours go back to combat.
Looks like something fell on it.
A lot of scorch marks on the mounting point for the modular armor. Perhaps struck by a tandem warhead RPG?
Nothing worse then warm Pepsi … yuck…
That stuff cooking in the sun is gonna taste so foul… had an electronics teacher who only drank warm Pepsi and we all thought he was insane… but he was just ex submariner so that explained most of it.
I had an FDC chief who was the same, but with Mountain Dew. Strange, he was good at his job tho, so whatever works.
Warm MTN Dew? That’s really screaming “I need HELP”
but yeah they were Navy so yeah…
trace that wire?
Which one?
The grey one!
But they’re all grey!
Don’t the Israelis issue ice to their troops? US Army did! Pepsi poured over ice is the only way to serve it.
