Thanks. Great pics.
Finally, a reference to the first Red Dawn movie and the Wolverines. I held off posting scenes from the movie. Seemed to close to the real thing to me. Now on another note and I do not want to Jinx them but I have not seen (not maybe they are not posting) any of those bad ass tractors that may not had been so lucky ie Damaged or blown up tractors. Not trying to spoil things but⦠could make for a interesting Dio.
Cheers

Good luck with that. Everything in the rear is pretty much fictional. Iāve removed it. And the front equipment is not done very well either. These are old, but gives an idea of what how bad some of the detail is. Pedals need to be cut off and suspended. Steering wheel is way overscale and had to be cut off as well. At least that figure from last week doesnāt have any problem squeezing in now.
My biggest gripe is the three rectangular openings on the front of each side of the cab, where the non-existent mirrors and grab handles were supposed to be installed. Have to bogart the mirrors from another truck kit.
I looked a the first few of Frenchyās pictures. I think Iāve used several of those as reference. However, looking at some of the other photos of this tractor available in Ukraine, Iām going to add the rear wheel weights as many of them appear to use them. In fact the above photo is one of the ones that show the weight on the wheel. Not hard to make the weights, but the lug nuts are actually a little too far from the hub compared tp the real thing.
Just read that more western AT weapons are thrown into the fray. France delivers MILAN system and Denmark send M72 LAW. And I am pretty sure that Saab Dynamics AT-4 are somewhere around.
Here`s a report on Ukrainian female soldiers.

Hereās one :
This one may not be as ābad assā as the first oneā¦
Another one :
Of course the pictured tractors are usually in better condition

Thatāll buff right out.
Thats great news. I have a bunch of MiLAN AT Systems in the scrap box.
Finally use themā¦
Yup, the mirrors, pedals, and steering wheel are all on the add/fix list. I am not looking to make an exact scale replica, just something a little better than how it comes and closer to reality. I have a Trumpeter BMP-2 w/interior that will be focus of the small dio. The tractor just needs to look somewhat detailed.

just thinking that we really have not seen a lot of photos of recovery tracks in this fiasco. That a kit Iād like to build

RAAF camo loading the Bushmasters.
somebody does an MRAP type of SUV that is armed with the Milan system. I wonder if France with send that one as well.
On a side note; I donāt understand why all the smaller nations are sending equipment, and Biden is just shaking a stick at the Russians. When someone like Estonia or Latvia sent whatever they can spare, it sorta points an ugly finger west. Romania has been helping at a steady pace since day one. Now other smaller players are stepping up to the platform. God bless them!

Australia is as far away as you can get. On a per capita basis I believe we are about the biggest $ supporter of Ukraine. Besides the Bushmaster there has been a lot of $$'s and small arms and munitions.
Mentioning Bidenās name is inviting a period in the forum naughty corner.
the brits had a WIMK landrover that had a 50 cal or a milan launcher fitted, hobbyboss makes kits of both versions
Here is some diorama inspiration.

Yeah, I figured it might be Air Force. USAF went down that road but recently gave it up. Our Navy so far stands firm in this silly notion.
We both know why. When it comes to being a deterrent he doesnāt pack the gear.
Please get me the contact info for the guy who did that installation!
The point is to send stuff that can be of use immediatelly. What good would it make to send some Abrams or Bradleys if there are no crews to man themā¦yet.
