Wiki says WACs were disbanded in 1978. Yes the throwback uniforms take a bit from the old days but only partially. Women wearing mens visor cap and trousers are certainly not old school.
Oh yes, the WACs as an organization are long gone. But the skirted version of the new Service Greens are definitely a retro look to the formative WAC era, headgear notwithstanding.

as bad as I thought my Drill Sargents were, I I thought they were lackluster when I saw female Drill Sargents in action!! Even when they called you every name they could think of, it was mild to what they were yelling at those women
