Germany is giving AA tanks but still buys natural gas from Russia?
As I understand it they are trying to phase out purchases by years end. I think the problem is a lack of interim supply- nuclear is being phased out (this was a post- Fukushima policy I think) and renewables and alternative sources cannot yet meet demand.
They are not the only ones still relying on Russian energy supplies. There was talk of what to do here in Ulster about Russian coal that was expected for a coal fired power plant.
The article I read about the Gepard mention Marauders too.
At this rate, at some point, literately every weapon every invented will be there.
When I see a WW2 US M16 or a SdKfZ 10/4, I for one will not be surprised…
Interesting how the rounds were added to the linked belt. Never knew that.
Hopefully ulster will not buy any more.
it has one major issue like all radar guided guns do. As it scans the sky the radar signature is collected and feed to an anti radiation missile. Fifteen seconds later he toast. The Russians have their own version of the Shrike. On the otherside of this, the F111 bombers were dropping out of the sky all the time. They were using the map of the earth terrain following radar to come in very low. The signal went out fifty to seventy miles, and gave the other guys a good warning they were coming. Then they simply locked onto the radar signal and followed the brick road to the target. A laser targeting system would be better

There is a similar device for almost all calibers. I have used the one for the .50 cal.
There are models for disintegrating link belts and also non disintegrating belts.
This video shows a Czech one:
Skip to 3:00 mark if you want.
Use catapults to throw hand grenades, area denial weapons …
Maybe the tractors are unionized. One union tows tanks the other tows scrap?
Speaking of tractors:
From the size it looks like it might work with 1/16 scale models.
And then there is this:

Actually, the tractor, having killed its prey, is now taking the tractor back to its lair to eat it, whereby the tractor will reproduce more tractors…
It’s time for the tractors to plow the land, otherwise their owners and the owners of their owners will have nothing to eat.
Here are a bunch of photos, description and analysis of the situation.
There is even a photo of a three-barreled PKT on a pickup truck.
Notice the carefully crafted “bra” for the front of the hull and turret of the T 90M. I have not seen this before.
The balls of the guy, I was over at nitter watching some work by Rob Lee, looking for reference to do a 72B3 obj 2016, yes, the trumpy kit. The guy is literally running to keep up with a tank, and is standing behind it as it pumps main gun rounds into a building. Sure, he’s maybe 50m behind, but there’s no safe distance when those things are firing. Or taking fire! Kudos to him for his work.
