Message for all posters.
Off topic posts will be deleted. I just deleted 7 posts after Gino notified us about them.
I have more interesting things to do …
Those who want to discuss politics can post in the Off Topic Shenanigans,
all opinions accepted as long as it doesn’t go into personal attacks, disrespecting each others nations and governments is OK but only in that forum.
Those who don’t like the off topic antics have the option off not joining that forum.
Easy and simple.
Please stay on topic and enjoy all the images that Frenchy finds for us

Fortunately, I’m not the only one to post pics  Looks like Ruzzaa and me are hunting on the same grounds…

I guess this guy started his career maintaining T-34’s…

Strange-looking turret…

Wow, T-64A with coincidence rangefinder.

I totally get that, and fully agree with it, however I don’t know why my post asking about the vehicles in the convoy H.P posted was flagged ? There was nothing political in it ? I keep that to the off topic Shenanigans ?

and ironically, I posted that comment to get it back on track about the vehicles as the posts above mine were getting a bit heated …

Track repair ?

There is no pin on the links between where those clamps are pulling the track together, so yes, those must be some sort of track jack/clamp.

Your post wasn’t flagged as off topic. I mistakenly hit the reply button on your post as opposed to the general reply button at the bottom of the page. Your post is fine.

Yup definitely a track clamp, though i was thrown by the fact it’s on the front. I’ve always split tracks at the sprocket end and reconnected them at that end.

So it some kind of tool/bracket used when repairing/replacing a track?

Yes, allows you to remove the track pin easier. Connected either side of the link you want to remove or work on or just to split the track. Pulls the track together and takes away the pressure on the pin you want to remove.
