A âBridge Too Farâ indeed.
I agree with Naseby; theyâre going to try one more big offensive before they totally regroup, and I would expect it to be in the Donbas. If that fails, I wouldnât be shocked if Ukraine actually takes back all the âannexedâ lands in the east and deports the separatists to Russia. I donât expect they can take back Crimea but given the poor performance and combat losses suffered by the Russians so far, itâs a possibility.
I did order this kit from AA, $178.14 total with shipping. It has been stuck at ISC Chicago for over a week. Typical BS coming from USPS/US Customs in Chicago. In comparison, I ordered a small package of aftermarket from Lucky Model back in March and it still hasnât left Hong Kong thanks to their Lockdowns etc. This Accurate Armor kit will be my 3rd kit from them and I am debating ordering up some metal tracks for it, but since it is a 6 wheel chassis, I bet Iâll need 2 sets.
The BMP-1 variant above is a BMP-1TS fitted with a BM-5 âSpisâ turret (30mm gun), minus the two Barrier ATGM.
Hereâs the very same vehicle ( # 33 ) on a prewar parade :

I Think with Whatâs left in the box , after a scorpion build, you may have enough.

Excellent. Thank you.
If not , give me a heads up, when I
have a hobby room again, and every thing is unpacked will send some.
You canât quite see all the text, but it says âstanitsa Luganskayaâ (my transliteration). Itâs the Lugansk bus stop I think.
See these images belowâŚ

PS Duh, I didnât respond to the post about 800 posts backâŚ
Well the thing with Crimea is that if they dont get a proper rail connection they might have trouble sustaining it. Isolated Crimea is no good to them. And their navy cant fix it either. Also with time UKR will switch tu US made planes. Russians cant match that. They dont have the money to do so. The fleet at Sebastopol is a sitting duck. There is just one rail line going to Crimea from the north and it is dependent on bridges and we know what that means. The Kerch bridge from the east is also just thatâŚa bridge.
When is a bridge not a bridge?
When it has become a target âŚ
They use US-made trucksâŚ
