Modelling armour in Ukraine crisis

I think that can be said for some other modern things, newer does not always mean better. I’ve gone from being able to work on most things on my car to not knowing what a lot of them do!

I saw a tractor like this outside of town yesterday -

It probably could pull a couple of tanks at one time.

Thats too bad. Always one of my favorites.
IIR they tested those against Leopards? or Challengers? 10 on 5 and score was zero w/ four S-Tanks remaining at the end?

Back to future, easy example for dio. The old roots from the garden > scale branches trick:

By the time the Russians get round to invading Germany, will there be any tanks left to liberate?

For a diorama:
With an accurate idea of the dimensions of the bridge panel it would be easy to scale the photo get correct placement of the other vehicles.
Thought: Might be a nice museum piece for after the war, when the UDF wins…

Guess they’ve blown through the cannon fodder and now they’re having to commit the real stuff.

Rubicon

…or going way back Julius Caesar crossing the Rubicon, meaning a decision where there’s no turning back. Hands up who knows what happened to him? :dagger: :dagger: :dagger: :dagger: :dagger: :dagger:

I stand corrected and am happy to be so where i’m in error.

Well im optimistic about the “after the war” time, but im also cautious, i think the russkies will try one more thing before they give up, maybe a new offensive further to the west in the Lviv area ? Also they will probably never call of the war completely, they will just continue the bombardment for years, just scaling down on the ground movement. They still have a pile of money and a pile of men to burn through.

Artillery shells and missiles can fly in both directions and it is hard to argue “injustice” or
pretending to be a victim when the incoming explosives are counter battery fire.

The next tsar after Putin may also reconsider Russias options and which course of action
that could be in Russias best interest.
