The Trumpeter Kazakhstan version is 99% the same as the current Russian version

The Kazakhstan version is totally wrong, the closest is Obj 199 from trumpeter or the Terminator 2 from Zvezda even then you will have to change the side armour and main panoramic sight.
Well Iām working on an LTAS cab as we speak so maybe soon weāll see an actual kit with one!

Apart from missile covers and the gun covers they are identical missile covers and gun cover are available from one of the aftermarket manufacturers as etched parts trumpeter Also has some of these parts as Options in the kits I did say 99%

The goal with the āSpecial Military Operationā keeps getting adjusted to try and match the achievements on the ground.
The Ukrainan military forces were āmarketedā to the Russian publich as incompetent and ineffective and the SMO was marketed as more or less a walk in the park.
Ukraine resisted a LOT more than anticipated. The goals were not being achieved so the goals got readjusted.
The problems experienced by the Russian army still needed an explanation ā It must be NATO troops in disguise.
Russia says that Ukraine has lost upwards of 160 000 troops, the Russian losses are given as 6000 (six thousand). To make up for the Russian losses Russia needs to mobilise 300 000 āsoldiersā.
I never managed to understand Russian mathematics ā¦

Which is the most current version ? the one with or without the missile covers ? or are they both fairly current but just different versions for home or export use ?

If only I were that simple! Admittedly the Kazakhstan version will give you the side armour (although you would have to shave all the detail off) and the stowage boxes the turret is still wrong itās not just a simple case of the gun and missile covers there are a lot of other details especially in front of the commander and gunner, ask me how I know, currently going through a conversion, worst still small scale, no aftermarket and only one kit to start from.
