Very likely it’s not chrome lined. Most western tank barrels are now chrome lined as an anti-corrosion measure. Protection against not only rust but chemical corrosion from the propellant.

I’m not the only one who noticed that…

Not that much. Instead of standing there smoking and joking they should be punching the gun tube. I imagine that their military isn’t much more professional than Russian’s.

I agree, but learning fast. I think it likely they have been trained to operate the weapon systems and very little else in a bid to get them fighting sooner. I might be wrong though.

And thats is why they see unprofessional to me.
I’m sure they don’t have much of a NCO core as the Russians.
