With these heavy western tanks already a simple track hit will make it difficult for Ukrainians to retrieve those broke down tanks.
That is true for all tracked vehicles, and yes recovery would be difficult but not impossible. Even if one is disabled and captured, without the logistic and repair back up it is useless to the Russians. Just a big trophy and I seem to remember reading somewhere that rewards are already posted for western tanks.
They seem to have been doing quite well retrieving Ruscist tanks so far.
Edit: A track hit does not necessarily mean a mobility kill either. Tanks can be short tracked in a pretty short amount of time and driven under their own power.

I think the Ukrainians are also getting 8 M88A2 Hercules Recovery Vehicles as part of the armor package.

Yep. It’s just a matter of gear ratios and adhesion.
Adhesion comes from friction, the amount of adhesion depends on the
friction koefficient, the friction koefficient is multiplied with the weight
of the tractor.
It could be enough with 50 hp, an extreme gearing and a heavy tractor.
110 hp pulling:
150 hp and 35 + 3 tons pulling some bottom plows, 8000 foot-pounds of torque
