I’ve been googling the MA since your post and I’m not finding what the actual difference is between the M and MA. I’m not sure if I’m missing something in the translation as the article shows a demonstration vehicle that is a M but is being called a MA?

It was put into use just before the Kharkov offensive by the units taking part in that operation. Likewise a yellow circle, a yellow square or a thick white vertical line was used by the units taking part in the Kherson offensive, depending upon which axis of advance they belonged to.

Okay, dumb modeling question. I’m looking at a lot of BMP-1 images here and I’m curious to see what the Hivemind says about a good choice for a BMP-1 Kit. I’m kind of trying to choose between the Dragon BMP-1, which is an old kit or the newer Trumpeter kit.

Go trumpeter. The Dragon kit (and ESCI) the lower front hull shape is incorrect.

The only time in recent memory that I’ve built a Dragon it was when i built an M4A3E8 from the Korean War and turned into my rendition of the “Fury” Sherman.
It wasn’t a horrible build, but as with older kits; it was not high on details, but it became a nice Sherman.

You need the uparmored version, I think its called the -1P, and I think that the kit doesn’t have all the extra armor needed.
