Modelling armour in Ukraine crisis

Id Google the kit as I think there is missing applique armor.
I’m hoping I’m wrong as the Ukrainians use alot of there.

Something akin to this vehicle.

After doing some googling and looking at walk arounds, it seems that the Trumpeter -1P has the correct appliqué armor and the anti radiation cladding on the hatches that I can see.

That’s good to know. I still have two T-72s to build, but I want to add some Russian APCs and IFVs to my collection.

All the Dragon BMP’s from the late 1980’s and early 1990’s are pretty terrible kits. I recall poor hull fit, terrible suspension detail that’s wrong, lousy suspension fit and bad tracks.

Do you or anyone else have any additional information on this version of the brdm?

I guess it’s a one-off vehicle, converted from a “civilian” BRDM…

Awesome find HP. Thanks for the help.
The military to civilian back to military explains lots of things like the armored plates on the front.

To me these plates rather look like painted/tinted glass panels

The word on the barrel means “Powerful”.

Looking at them again. The center section does seem very reflective like glass and not armor plating.

Looks like they have been taking notes from Syria
