Modelling armour in Ukraine crisis

Interesting uniforms too- the one on the right appears to be wearing a Russian version of Flecktarn that was initially seen in the mid-2000s. The guy on the left is sporting a Flora pattern winter uniform circa 1998- yet it looks brand new.

Isn’t the current pattern issued to Russian forces called the “EMR” pattern? I have heard it being called “Digital Flora”.

As worn by the Russian Defense Minister, Sergey Shoigu.

Russian POWs captured in Ukraine, wearing EMR pattern uniforms.

The POW on the right looks like he’s wearing the same camo as the Rebel Commandos on Endor under his Field Jacker/Parka.

Plastic, just like the Russian Regime.

In a war long, long ago, he most likely stole it from the Rebel Commandos on Endor, along with their washing machines.

These looks to similar but different covered structures/buildings. Does anyone know if these are a standard military building type for the area or civilian buildings/garages converted for military use?

Yeap- I’ve heard the green pixelated camo referred to as both EMR and ‘Digital Flora’- sometimes its referred to as the ‘Ratnik uniform’ too. ‘Ratnik’ really refers to the pattern of uniform and the equipment that goes with it. There are several different versions for different climates and regions.

As opposed to Vatnik

My 3rd zvezda T72 arrived today, this one has its turret sprue, still unsure why it’s missing on one of them. I intend to do one caotured by ukraine with some modification. I intend to correct all 3 hull of course, as said, it doesn’t look that hard to me.

I would say they have just come out of a trench system, after clearing it, or defended it.

Thats going to do the job for them in a roundabout way.
