Well I think the rear one is a T-72B3 and I reckon the front one is too but as you can see it has a few things missing- the side skirts, front mud guards, the Commander’s MG, shield and searchlight. It kind of looks like it was in a ditch or something- perhaps rolled into it knocking off the various turret top equipment and the side skirts?
Thanks, I am trying to pick a kit for this conflict. Looking at T-64AV, BTR-2, T-64BM from trumpeter or meng T-72B3
Go for the Meng. Built it awhile back. Pretty sure this is the Meng offering but it might be Trumpeters. Both build up nicely.
Is that the B3? I was looking at it today. I assume I could do one of those captured by Ukraine
Actually looks like a B1!
While looking in the thread, I found a verry original idea for my zvezda B3 hull in case I don’t get the turret. I wonder if more pics of this thing exist, what the covered turret well look like and if the conversion from a B3 hull is possible.
Thanks for your answers!
That looks like the TOS1, without the launcher, Being used as an ARV
thanks to @frank
Extract from the instructions for Trumpeters TOS-1A kit.

Yeah it’s a TOS 1A the jacks at the front and the placement of the smoke discharges are a dead giveaway, it’s just had the launcher unit removed /missing
You’d be looking for this image, then… I did have an image of the discarded launcher, too, but cannot find it now.
Hmmm… Now searching for most appropriate MiG 17 kit in 1/32.
Trumpeter makes one in 1/32.
I’ve seen that kit (almost purchased it once for something else) and it’s not good. Plus, does it come with the pitot tube is the next question. I know there’s a good metal aftermarket one. This is not something I want to rush into.
Do it in 1/72 instead? More surroundings for the same square inches footprint
