Do you or anyone know the any dimensions of the pad and/or pedestal?
I found I have the old 1/48 Hobbycraft kit, on the fence about a before or after vignette.

The shadows below the face look all wrong because he has a beard which hides half an inch of his chin
and lower edge of the jaw
If you look at Kadyrov’s facial hair, along with some of these Chechen soldiers. It’s probably the angle of his head when the picture was taken.

I have enough trouble painting faces without having to master that Amish-look shaved upper lip! Maybe I need to build motorcyclists with full-face crash helmets…

Yes I saw the beard, but it was the (lack of) sharpness of the whole face compared to the rest of the picture that bugged me…I guess I’m just splitting (beard) hairs here.
