It is challenging to get the proper look with silver track. Generally it looks brighter on a kit than the real thing. I think part of this is real world shadow depth verses the shadow depth on a kit. The contrasts are some what different. I think the shade of the metalic color is also a challenge to replicate.
FWIW - Pewter oil paint, in my opinion helps avoid the “too bright” that can occur using silver hobby paints.
Guide horns on an M109A6 are extremely bright. Testors chrome silver is perfect but would be laughed.
Trumpeter Ural 4320, DEF Model sagged wheels, some vstyrene customization and what i am guessing is an s-60 57mm AA gun.
It never fails. I always stop to read the patches, thinking that I can read Russian!

ah, but what if you COULD learn it that way like others learn watching sitcoms from other countries?
Almost 9500 posts! Well done.
I have a request of those smarter than me!
Can someone put a list together of all the known markings?
I know the Z. And the V. Plus the +. But there are Os and others. I simply get confused at whos equipment im looking at.
Thanks
Explained near top of thread.
I learned a lot by watching Tatort, Wetten Das, and others German shows, as well as the news. It’s part of the total immersion experience and seems to hav e worked.
My favorite was watching Ariana Radfan from the East German volleyball team.
Here is the Russian units grabbed early last year, all photos now seem to be just Z now.
The Letter “Z” represents units in the Eastern Military District
The Letter “Z” in a square represents the Southern Military District (Crimea)
The Letter “O” represents units from Belarus
The Letter “V” represents the Russian Marines
The Letter “X” represents the forces of Ramzan Kadyrov, the Putin installed warlord of Russia’s Chechnya region.
The Letter “A” represents Russian Special Forces(SSO) like Spetznaz in its various operational units.
The + are UA forces.
Like the arm band colors, things are always changing.
Fixed it for ya.
I should say the text has been grabbed from somewhere online but I see what you did there.
It is the latest variant of the T90 the T90M
Holy crap ,I thought back in the day that the back of a M113 was cramped , seeing the guys in the back of the bmp the 113 was sheer luxury!
Russian designers of military equipment must have been midgets.
You should see the size you have to be to fit comfortably into the driving position of a T55 (or variant).
In Bosnia, we used to make the FWF clear up their own minefields - their simple and rather expedient solution was to fit mine rollers to the front of their tanks and just drive through the minefield…
But the drivers were always tiny - and according to the ones I spoke to, were identified at the recruitment stage for their suitability as tank drivers.
True story.
