Modelling armour in Ukraine crisis

How are the American howitzers doing in comparison to the German machines?. I read an article on-line that the German machines were wearing out quickly.

Interesting gunner’s armor on this M113A3. Any more info in it? It looks locally made.

I was wondering the same thing. Very interesting. It looks to be a full turret, it has periscopes on top.

Love anything M113! You can never have too many M113’s. May see about simulating that turret.

All those facets - could be fun.
Just change the design slightly and add some windows…

Maybe that’s the one mentionned here

Not exactly the same, but still from Ukraine

They could make it so much easier for us modelers by making the roof a single piece of plate steel. Raise it up over the edges of the side armor about 20cm to provide better ventilation and SA. Hell, it might make it simpler for them as well.

I still reccall when people said rye field went too far with the leopard/ab rams with ERA and then ukraine cover its tanks with it (or more). I’m currently working on fixing the paint and weathering my T90 hull using drybrush (I think it’s cheap and it still work well, I plan to do drybrush for the leopard as well, each will be weathered differently).

Looks like Salisbury Plain to me. What do you think @BootsDMS and @Johnnych01 ?
