Interesting vid. I had one back in the day (sadly after they deleted the lighting) and every boy I knew in school had one too! But even then I thought the Klingon Battle Cruiser was much cooler and meaner-looking. The one I didn’t get my hands on was the Romulan Bird of Prey, which I suspect fitted better in the box…

The Klingon D7 battle crusier was my favorite as a kid. My copy was molded in black and had chrome trim parts.
I was more of a 2001: A Space Odyssey kit builder. I recall the lunar rover kit from the movie.

I had one of the versions of the original kit, plus the Klingon and Romulan ships.
Now I have all the 1/1000 Polar Lights/Round2 kits plus the TOS Enterprise and the K’Tinga in 1/350.
And for you, Arch, I have the 1/144 Discovery which I’d like to get the pod bay resin for.
