Really liking the factory pinomis, nice to see the internal workings you’re adding…so often forgotten, but well worth the effort, :+1: :slightly_smiling_face:.

Good day,
This is just a small update, goong to build led warm yellow lights, and still waiting for the machinery from the bay.
Cheers

Latest structure rehab work: Rico Station

The salvaged kit had lost its’ tower roof so I had to build a new one. Perhaps not some of my best work.

And as always the artwork for these period signs (and many more) can be downloaded from this thread on the KitMaker Network: LINK

Another Hobbyshop Rehab:
This time a Lionel O scale Freight Depot

I really like doing these rehabs as it allows me to work in almost any scale

I’ve not been around for some months Michael, but I always like to catch up on your Rehabs, they’re all outstanding, but I especially like all the ‘window dressing’ on the ‘small garage’, very nicely done.

Some assorted miscellaneous HO track side structures recently rehabbed.

An interesting Lionel O scale “Barrel Shed” (whatever the heck is a barrel shed??? An elevated shed with barrels underneath???)

More nice builds Michael, I especially like the large signal box, :+1: :slightly_smiling_face:, though I have to say I don’t think I’d like to man the signal box that is supported on just two posts, especially if it was windy, :grimacing:.

This one is not really a hobbyshop rehab but rather a full build from new. The problem here was that while the kit was complete it was in the totally wrong box! ???

Always wanted to build one of these so . . .

Of course I did the usual repaint and weathering then added an additional ladder to the cab, the smoke stack and the small, raised “haul back” cable structure to the cab roof and of course all the ground work.

It was an enjoyable build!

Mike, your rehabs are silk purses from swine ears. Is that mobile crane Dapol/Kitmaster? That signal shack - great windows!

Fred I think this particular gantry crane model was Tyco but just about every hobby manufacturer that makes plastic HO structures has used these molds at one time or another. In a quick google search I found Faller offering this same crane as well.

A recent hobbyshop rehab. The original builder did a good job with basic construction but smeared glue all over it and then tried to stain it. It did not look very good at all.
I reworked the look of this one using a rustic base paint and lots of oil pastel weathering.
After the rehab this one flew off the shelves!
