I have to test print to see if they are not very thin.

If can make the shaft 0,5 mm, it will be ideal.

Ok 0,5mm.

If that comes out to your liking, I’d be interested in buying several in multiple scales.

Do you know if there is an English version of the book? Looks interesting.

Ha! Interesting. I was thinking about CADing M224 in 1/35.

M224 mortar wip:

I don´t think so.

Arrows printed nicely, but warped after a while. I have to solve this, maybe adding supports on the top.

More progress with the mortar, of course there will be corrections if needed.

That looks fantastic!

Only correction that jumps out at me at this stage is that the bipod feet don’t look right. Then again, I haven’t played with one of these in close to 20 years, so my perception could be a little off…

Bipod feet perhaps “more pointy”? as in this M170 assembly illustration?

I will make them more pointy, I work mainly on photos and videos, so it is easy to miss something.

M224 almost ready, I have to do some touch ups here and there :slightly_smiling_face:

I found that if I heated the prints for a few hours in a semi-enclosed space, I call it baking, the prints straighten out. Might be specific to my printing process and the resin I use but it works for me.

Test print of the M224 in 1/24, I have to adjust some small details for 1/35 to print nicely. Bipod is adjustable :slightly_smiling_face:
