Has anyone tried this product for cleaning an airbrush?
Naked Gun® Spray Gun Paint Remover provides a powerful aerosol spray stream that removes both solvent and waterborne paints from hard to reach areas. Removes paint from spray gun bodies, tips, and cups, as well as many other surfaces.
Obviously need to use gloves & respirator and have excellent ventilation etc.

I’d just be wary of out-of-control spray. Does it have a tube attachment for precision spraying?

Yes, there’s a tube attachment.
Seems like it would be great for color cup clean up.

Where’d you find that stuff?

Watched a YouTube on how to repaint your beater car for $150 with a bottom of the barrel small spray gun & dinky Craftsman compressor w/6 gallon tank. They used Naked Gun to clean the spray gun before spraying the clear coat. They mentioned it would cut dried paint out of fhe color cup & spray gun.
I have ritual with Goof-Off Paint & Tar Remover for airbrush cleaning that works well cleaning airbrushes but always looking to make it better. Occasionally, my ritual for cleaning color cups isn’t as effective.

What type of solvent is it?

It isn’t sold in the State of California because the following are mentioned.
This product can expose you to chemicals including Ethylbenzene and Cumene, which are known to the State of California to cause cancer, and Methanol, which is known to the state of California to cause birth defects and other reproductive harm
Definitely a gloves, respirator & good ventilation required product.

Lacquer thinner always worked for me.

This stuff looks interesting. It’s from Klean-Strip, which is a giant, reputable company, so it should work. It should get an airbrush sparkling clean! I’ve never heard of it before.

I might have to buy some just because it’s banned in CA…
Seriously, though, lacquer thinner always does the trick for me cleaning my AB. Does double duty as a thinner for Tamiya paints, too.

What lacquer thinner won’t remove, I have no business messing with.
