Neat solution for fan exhaust through window

I suppose it only works with the type of windows that slide up/down in the frame.

Stack vertically for windows that slide sideways. Being able to print the parts would make it easy to customize for frame size and fit.

Sweden and many other countries have windows that swing sideways
so this idea does not help some of us.

Very neat for sliding windows though

The windows in my apartment are hinged at the side and at the bottom
so they can swing sideways (into the room) or tilt at the bottom.
The hinge function depends on how I turn the handle.

We have them configured so that tilt comes first and the swing opening
is blocked by a child-safety lock.

Witness,

Hum, like that idea as that is the way my windows work. The biggest problem I see is that the vent sections that mount in the frame will need to be the total height of the window in order to seal properly. I live in Florida, USA and in the summer any leak would be a disaster when it comes to the air conditioning.

I don’t have a mechanical drawing package and really don’t want to buy one. I know FreeCAD is out there but with the little I have played with it it looks like the learning curve might be pretty steep.

However this is something that warrants looking into as I’m not the only one that faces this dilemma.
