New airbrush

they sound perfect. i will definitely order some and perhaps get some of that goof off wade uses to dip them in to clean the nozzle, thanks

In the olden days the pros soaked their AB nozzles in whisky to get the gunk off. Not sure if the used stuff could be recycled, the the leftovers sure could!

Air brushing is a black art. 50% the time it works the rest of the time I take up knitting.
I now use spray cans for priming. More expensive but works everytime.

Yup - I use Halfords grey autobody primer in a rattle can for priming - it grips well and is easy to apply! A can lasts ages so I can’t say how much it costs per project, but as I tend to get maybe 10 1:35 subjects from a can it’s much cheaper than hitting my head against airbrushable primers…

me too. saves a cleanup and quicker. glosscoates too. only the color coats i use the AB.
