New Computer issues

hi folks looking for some help here. i have a new 'puter with the latest exition of windows and google chrome

i was trying to get onto “the pirate bay” using one of tge proxy sites that i have used before but i can get past this annoying security page (see below image).

how do i disable this so i can get back onto the piratebay using a proxy site the way i used to on my old ‘puter’

kind regards,

Klaus

David,

Click Advanced(bottom left corner of your screenshot)
A new window will open and there you will have a link, giving you the opportunity to go to the unsafe site(Chrome will not recommend it).
Use it at your discretion

HTH,
Cheers,
Angel

@ayovtshev

yeah i tried that see below

and when i clicked the link, i always get this even though i know that the link works

kind regards

Klaus

You need to use your own DNS-entry for google. It’s your internet-provider who is blocking the site. You’ll find it in chromes security settings. Chose cloudflare (1.1.1.1) that should work.

@ram-g where in google chrome settings, how do ind it and disable it (temporarily)?

i have found a bizarre work around, i access ed thd proxy server link on my phone, opened up the piratebay page, copied yhe link into an email and sent it to myself. i then opened the email on my computer and clicked the link and it opened the piratebay webpage with no problem.

my chrome is set to german, so I’ll guide you to the point the icons.

  • burger-menu on the far right (the three vertical dots)
  • the cockwheel almost on the bottom (settings)
  • on the left, choos the shield symbol (privacy & security)
  • scroll down to the lock-symbol (security), click it
  • scroll down. There are two entries with DNS. one of them should be called something like “choose DNS provider”
  • easiest is to choose cloudflare. And choose it permanently. You’ll make your life a lot easier
