I use a point zero for the geavy lifting , like primer and heavier paints.

Good to know. I see a few Point Zero models available on Amazon with different needle sizes. At this point, an airbrush only capable of broader coverage is fine, but I’d like to be able to build German aircraft at some point, or pretty much anything needing a feathered line, like pre/post shading, etc.

Is 0.3mm enough for that?

.3 is good. With some trigger control it will do what you need . Just practice a little
