A few more tips on the Mk I that are valid for nearly any build:
I added casting numbers the the turret in several locations. All cast on latches were cut off and scratchbuilt. I added wire torsion springs for the stoawage hatches, thinned the Uzi mount and drilled out the holes. Shackles camer from some WWII Russian tank, but look the part.
The Tamiya kit mysteriously left off the hinge detail on the sponson pieces. Easy enough to add:
I also addes a little catch for the driver’s hatch. For years there was no PE for this kit so I used some railroad PE with the appropriate pattern.
