Normandy Battlefield tour

I am crossing something off of my bucket list…I am doing a Normandy battlefield tour with Stephen Ambrose Historical Tours, July 18-27…with an extra day in Paris the day before the tour starts. The tour covers the full 100 days of the Normandy battlefield…

I was wondering if anyone has any special requests for photos of something, a certain memorial or maybe someone’s relatives tombstone in one of the Cemeteries?

Please let me know and I will try…if you guys would like me to post pictures here, please let me know.

Thanks. I found some online. I wish I had known about it when I was there with my mom years ago. My mom wanted to know about where my dad came ashore, so we went to the beach but didn’t know about that monument.

One of the things I forgot to mention, is with Stephen Ambrose tours…you do not have a “tour guide”, but historians along for the tour. I do not know if other tour companies do this also.

I just did a tour of the beaches last month with Albion Tours. They have historians as “guides”. It was remarkable!!
