Notox cement by MPC. Did anyone use this back in the day?

I just found this one in a used kit, unopened. Is it still manufactured by MPC?

Also in the kit were 7 bottles of 15 cent Testor’s paint - also unopened.

As MPC no longer exists under that name (although their assets survive) I would say “no.”

That’s quite a find though. I’d save it all for a period photograph with old MPC “Profile Series” aircraft, of which I built many, and still have many unbuilt to this day. Something like this:

The cement didn’t work well, BTW.

Wasn’t that the stuff that smelled of lemons? I remember it being rubbish.

15-cent paint? Those were the days!

I’ve never seen the MPC stuff but I have, deep inside a spare parts box, a nearly finished tube of KMart brand cement. I’ve also got a tube someplace of the Testors non-toxic glue; the orange smell is very evocative of being a kid building models.

This is them. No color names. One label for all.
