Ciao.

Wonderful stuff Jerry. I have to commend that camo work again, you always seem to get the scale rendition just right but then I guess you do paint a lot of it! I like the way you have the necks on the two fellas- they are the right angle to see the effort in the tendons and it looks like you have painted them to further emphasise this- plus the way you have their right arms out wide giving them balance and momentum adds to the idea that it is a serious effort in pulling their wounded comrade to safety.

airborne! all the way,
J

Thank you Sir! Glad you liked it,

Welcome aboard, first of all and thanks for the kind words buddy!

Thanks for noticing all that buddy! I have to admit this one was a bit tricky to figure out and will continue to be tricky when I put it on a base and try to tie the 3 together.

After flogging my brain with that trio I just finished I need to take a break and build something right from the box so here goes. I sourced a MKIII mine sweeper online and copied it as closely as possible.

I thought for a second that you were going to have the guy on the left holding a rifle by its sling, then I noticed the MP 40 around his neck, once again simply amazing work and excellent composition of the figures.

Thank you Sir! Thanks for looking in and commenting,
J

You do keep on rolling… And each fig is as brilliant, if not better, as the previous one… It is always a great pleasure to behold your progression and more so the results!

Thanks buddy! Very kind words indeed.

Noice… a detail I didn’t notice yet is the number on the gasmask canister. Never seen it before. You must have some photo evidence for this excelent detail?

Lots of pics from that time show this as well as names of the owners on the equipment. We did it as well. Pretty common in all armies.
