Thanks for the encouragement buddy!

I merely respond to your notion
All authentic, I got it years ago from my German Sister in law … it belonged to here father ,
His left leg was blown off above the knee and a severe abdominal wound (gold wound badge )
Eicenhlaub badge was worn on the M43 cap denotes him as a Jäger
The small LW wing was worn(non off icial) on the cap this was part of the 5th Jäger Division logo
Alright, good to know! Nice collection. I was not sure if the wound badge was bronze or gold. So that poor guy really went through the meat grinder to wear the gold! Wow.
J
Very nice. Great detail in hollowing out the bottom of the handle.
Great pose and awesome uniform. Just his eye(s?) is way too large!!!
He could of woke up and as he put his uniform on, thought about going for a Cleopatra type eye liner look ?
I really like how the flapping belt and the fuze ignitor cord add a sense of motion to the pose! Very nice!
Thanks John,
J
Thank you,
I was going for a scared look but I guess I failed,
J
They look more like puppy eyes
Thanks Mike, for the positive reinforcement.
I am giving some thought to something you brought up before though,
J
In all honesty, I was teasing abit lol …if I could do a figure even 10% as good as that, I would be a very happy and content modeller !!
Agreed … its those little details that make a figure stand out in a dio. They give it life, the sense of real movement adds a lot I think. What tamiya figure set is he from ?
Jerry, ilike your figure conversions verry mutch…
Its a discilpline in witch i want to learn so mutch… Converting, upgrading and painting…
I wsss following you also on old forums… Ceep on the good work…
Salute from Slovenia…
Bostjan
Small 4 figure set I think it was called “elite German Infantry”?
J
Thank you Bostjan!
Glad you liked it.
As I wrote many times, I used to buy a tank kit, glue the hatches shut and throw away the figures as I didn’t enjoy that part.
Now I don’t build tanks, unless they fit into a scene I want to show but I thoroughly love building, converting and slapping paint on figures
Hi Jerry,
You’ve excelled with the animation on this figure, the strap and buckles swinging in the air as he prepares to lob the grenade really give a sense of forceful motion…outstanding, as always,
.
Cheers,
,
