That’s a great big scene you’ve worked up there Jerry. Nice to see such a large collection of figures all moving as a unit- getting told where to go and what to do and looking cautious yet ready at the same time.

I like the high grass, looks great.

Thanks man. Love the old agfacolor tones!

Thanks Karl as usual you have all the nuances correct!

You’re on fire

Thanks man. I think the latest issue has some of my best stuff. But it’s all subjective. What I like doesn’t mean anyone else likes it.

I enjoy reading and seeing them but they need to sharpen their editing skills at the mag.

Another breath taking scene Jerry… The hunched approach to the hill crest is perfect … Brilliant poses once again in how they are moving up into the ambush/attack line. Very clever :+1::+1:

There have been a few minor glitches but overall I am super pumped with how they did the concept and layout. Like a 1940 comic book kinda thing.
This issue I think they cut out one caption and the last issue there were a few things out of wack but hey, I am honored they want this stuff.

Thanks mate. It took a few different tries to get the pieces to make sense. I see a few tweeks that could be made but at some point ya hafta say…OK…enough.
Main thing is,I carefully avoided having the figs all equi-distant. So there is that.

I also love the set up of the concept and think it’s a clever way to show the battle.

Hope so. I had to abandon the classic dio because of the scope of the project. It turned into more of a story board concept. I just do not have the time, room or money to build an actual dio for each scene. But that happened to fit in nicely with the graphic novel style in the mag. Win win,

Wow, you did need a lot of Schwimmwagens! They look great, all cammo’d up, like that. A always, great work, Jerry.
Is that tall grass, made from fake fir? If so, how did you color it? Ralph

Thanks man. The way of life for the Germans in Normandy.
The fur was spray painted.

Wow Jerry, that is stunning! As Bravo36 says, the Schwimmwagens look really good and the natural way the figures are spreading out and are so well laden - really excellent. Looking at period photos and newsreel it is often surprising how few soldiers you actually see, often just groups of three and four clumped together. Very natural looking. It’s also incredible how the Waffen SS were prepared to counter-attack with small units often understrength, reversing the 3:1 advantage usually believed to be essential in an attack. You set us all a standard to aspire to!
