Oshkosh Defense Logistics Vehicle System Replacement (LVSR) reference library

With the recent kits by Chinese manufacturer “I Love Kit” of the Oshkosh Defense Logistics Vehicle System Replacement (LVSR), I have begun to look for references of this family of vehicles -and they are scare. So please share what you got, links, photos and what ever is useful for a modeling project.

Can’t wait to have one of these in my Stash.
Hopefully the CHU version comes out in Europe soon.
Otherwise I going to have to order the tractor to fit the Armoured cabin.

Including some very interesting 3D-printed parts for the suspension:

And they put in the wrong transmission and engine.
It seems research isn’t Trumpeter (ILK) their strongest feature.

If I want to pay for them, depends on, what value I think they will add. The springs in each TAK-4 suspension unit consists of two parts in the kit, so that is a lot of seams to clean up. Here 3D-printed parts will come in handy.

Its a shame Trumpeter did not put in the correct engine.
Heck, its not even the A4 engine, with a bit luck the engine is reusable in the M1070A1.
But you still need all the other parts, and the oil pan is wrong.
Who does the research over there?

Been changing my own C-15 CAT engine and designing the shock absorbers, spring coils and rubber dumpers, transfer case looks to be correct, but I’ll use my own.

99% of modelers won’t recognize nor care that it isn’t the exact model of engine for an LVSR. They will just be happy there is an engine and it looks pretty close to the actual one.

Yeah, that is true.
And then you got me going ape over the correct wheels on a Merkava tank.

I’m sick… Lol

Big difference, Trumpeter took the easy road when designing this.

that engine looks similar to the one in my M1070A1 build

All the parts printed to build the LVSR MKR16 Tractor and I just got the news today that the MKR18 is on its way.
