Phantom Phanaticism 2024 edition

Yeah those will give you everything you need for that scheme.
Best of luck with it.

I’m still undecided what to do myself. I had planned to go with the Hobby2000 Vietnam Aces F-4C and do it in Robin Olds markings for Operation Bolo, but I found a set of Iranian decals last week in my stash. Have got a couple of Italeri’s F-4E’s to use them on. Cool thing is that the sheet gives the option of original Imperial or Revolutionary markings. Saw a lot of combat in the 80’s during the war with Iraq. An important and often forgotten chapter in the Phantom story.
And I have to admit, it looks bloody good in the Asia Minor cammo!

Just clicked “Going”. I have some Hasegawa (Revell) and Italeri Phantoms in my stash and tons of AM decals. Not the newest, I know, but still worth to be build, I guess. Might go for a Bundesluftwaffe F or a Turk Hava Kuvvetleri E or a … Should be done by October 2025

I am in! Plenty in the stash - might do an Iranian version, but need to research if I have a kit of the right version.

@SableLiger I’m going to do Robin Olds F-4C from Operation Bolo. Got the Hobby 2000 reboxed Hasegawa with the decals and the ECM pod from a Trumpy F-105. I did make a start on the Italeri F-4D with the intention of building as Scat XXVII a few years back but never finished. Really should get it done sometime.

Does anyone fancy doing a medal for the campaign?

I have acquired the Meng Wild Weasel and intend to build it for this campaign. I’ve been collecting models for a Desert Storm collection for some time. I find it kind of amusing that I bought a new one for this campaign to kick that off. Been acquiring some additions for it.

Definitely!

I’ve seen a few resin and 3D printed kits of him around, if someone wants to do by all means go for it!
I know someone mentioned it above in the thread a while back, but I can’t find it.

I think it’s Tori Factory.

Someone even made a custom Spook dressed in a traditional Tsolias for the F-4 Phantom in Hellenic (Greek) service.
