Polish 7TP tank 1:35

Hi guys, im new in this Forum. Im making models since 2022. I’m in Polish forum too. That’s a place where i started.

By the way, i wanted to show you my last model. It’s 7TP Polish light tank. I’m not a professional like you, so pls dont expect much.

I couldnt find last photos where it was 100% finished, so im sorry for that.

Not bad  Is that the old Spójnia kit, or a more modern one? (I built two of those, long ago when the only way to obtain them was trade with Polish modellers  )

No, its from Mirage Hobby. Thier Models arent that good Like Tamiya or Italeri. I discovered It when others told me this. Theres a Link to my topic in Polish forum:

PS. You need to translate It because everything is in Polish.:slightly_smiling_face:

Robi, welcome to Armorama! The Mirage kit is just a rebox of the awful Spojnia kit. You have done an excellent job on an awful model.

If you want a great model of the 7TP and TKS, get the IBG Models kits. They are light years ahead of the re-boxes.

Welcome to the forums and well done with your model! You are well on your way to becoming a professional.

I want to second Matt’s recommendation for IBG Models kits. Recent offerings are top tier for production quality. IBG produces a lot of Polish stuff in 1/35 scale. I own a couple of the IBG 7TPs and TKS kits Matt mentioned and they are beautiful in the box.

The Poles used a lot of American and British stuff during World War II so there are many options if that is your area of interest.

Welcome!

Don’t worry about your “level of expertise”. We all started somewhere.

Mirage, you say? I did their T-26 Model 37 in Finnish colours. In the low price class, Zvezda’s is a lot better.

Thank you guys. I wanted a IBG kit, but i watched some opinione and YT Videos about it, and i think im still Not ready for IBG Models, because very much modellers say its not for begginers. So now you know. By the way im making a Tamiya Panther now, my dad says i’m doing excellent work on It.

Robi,

I was interested to see your model of the Polish 7TP … a rare subject in any scale.

Coincidentally, I recently built on in 1/72 scale. This is a 3D printed kit from the Italian company, Mussini Models. As you can see, I depicted it as a broken-down vehicle, mainly because I wanted to take advantage of the open engine compartment.

Robi,

It is called a manhole cover, normally made from iron or steel, and used to cover the entrance to the underground sewers.

Yes, youre right. I have autocorrect Turned on so it translates everything. Now its just a piece of Material, but it will be as good as i think. Maybe😐

Please be aware that a manhole is never placed in any kind of pavement without its outer ring. Those can be both square or round…
