Practice weathering

Apologies if I have already posted this earlier:

A suggestion: I love those cast scrap metal gondola loads you are using. However since this is intended to represent scrap metal I would think at least some items would still carry their original paint colors. I suggest giving some color variations to the different scrap parts and then over spraying the entire painted load with a mist of rust and dust colors to age everything and make it them look old and rusty.

Plus some log cars: (I did four of these log cars and they were snapped up very quickly at the Hobbyshop.)

This is something I need to do more of - practice. Your weathering looks great.

I had to smile at, “getting the caps off old oil paint tubes” - I am too familiar with that specific challenge. Probably about time for me to replace most of them.

Also smiled at the Algonquin Park badge. I’m more familiar with Killarney and Temagami than Algonquin, but, that said, Algonquin (or at least parts of it) is beautiful country.
