Make two. Add a center core from larger tubing, and whichever details you still need.
Or if you just want something generic that looks the part, find a crappy kit, bogart the parts you need, and sand them until you get the appropriate “thinness” that you need:
I thought the same thing. Ive got MMK’s version of the bladders but seem to remember someone saying they were too round (inflated) and unnatural-looking.
Those look well nestled in the cradle though, any 3D printers interested out there?
(And yes, you could borrow one of my MMK bladders for this project)
I have MMK bladders. They’re much better than the Verlinden ones. And the dry transfers are very nice.
I also hollow cast my own bladders. You can heat them with a blow dryer and collapse them as little or as much as you like.
Looking at the MMK packaging, there’s 3 of them across the back of a 5 tonner. If I can get a cradle built to house two longitudinally great but otherwise……
Mine are lying on the ground, which explains their partially empty state. I can make as many as you need, but I’d suggest if you put three on a truck, you only need one partially empty one. Or one totally empty, one partial, and one full. It make sense to me that they’d empty one out before going on to the next one.
Had a closer look and I think you’re right. I’d love to have more info on the cradles that were used to support these bladders. I also wish a 3D printer would make the cradles, pump and hosereel pieces for a setup like the one in that picture.
