Refueling setup

It would obviously depend on the style, but I’d probably start by punching some appropriately sized discs:

Then I’d add a ring of rod around the edge:

Make two. Add a center core from larger tubing, and whichever details you still need.

Or if you just want something generic that looks the part, find a crappy kit, bogart the parts you need, and sand them until you get the appropriate “thinness” that you need:

Is this a BMP kit ?

Yeah. Why? You need parts?

No, just thought I was aware of all the BMP kits available but this one is unfamiliar to me.

Those hammocks for the 500 gallon bladders look like they could be a fun build.

I thought the same thing. Ive got MMK’s version of the bladders but seem to remember someone saying they were too round (inflated) and unnatural-looking.

Those look well nestled in the cradle though, any 3D printers interested out there?

(And yes, you could borrow one of my MMK bladders for this project)

I have MMK bladders. They’re much better than the Verlinden ones. And the dry transfers are very nice.
I also hollow cast my own bladders. You can heat them with a blow dryer and collapse them as little or as much as you like.

That’s interesting for a future project. What do you sell them for per pair?

I could probably do a pair for $8.00. Plus pretty cheap shipping since they’re light.

I might be interested in a set of those also. Wayne

That’s do able. I’m in the middle of resetting my PP account. I’ll message you on here with address and details.

Cheers.

Looking at the MMK packaging, there’s 3 of them across the back of a 5 tonner. If I can get a cradle built to house two longitudinally great but otherwise……

Mine are lying on the ground, which explains their partially empty state. I can make as many as you need, but I’d suggest if you put three on a truck, you only need one partially empty one. Or one totally empty, one partial, and one full. It make sense to me that they’d empty one out before going on to the next one.

TBH my thinking is;

A 5 ton with a load of 3 MMK bladders, (not a fueler) towing another (your) bladder on a 1,5 ton trailer or, towing HL’s fuel tank trailer.

Then an M548 with either 2 HL 600 gallon pods or 2 (your) bladders gravity-dispensed, or with a pump if I can find one.

Cheers
