That looks cool and great painting on it

Oh wow- that really stands out- in a good way. Very attention grabbing- like a giant red grasshopper!

Wow. The ‘Gran Tomato’ came out fantastic Jesper.

That is also a stand out piece Gaz. The colour combination is great.

At this point, dare I suggest changing the “C” in the logo to a “K”? (From Caterpillar tracks to Ketten?..)

Beautiful dreadnought, Gaz! Looks great!

@ John and Matthew. Thank’s Glad you guys like it so far! As you’ve said, the rivets are very addicting indeed. … I do need help! :lab_coat:

@ Peter. I like the white institution mug the best — just not the artwork. I’d bet you could design a better one… hint, hint. :upside_down_face:

Thank’s Jesper! I’ve yet to do a wingy-thingy and these 3D printed decals are a first for me. I believe Quinta Studio started out with aircraft and have expanded their line to include armor as well. I have their Russian UAZ 3909 Interior 3D Decal set and can attest to the quality.

I like the way you think Tom! I’m going to print and cover the “CAT" logo with “KAT" eventually… ‘KAT und KLAW!’ :smile_cat:

@ Klaus. Yowzer! You really nailed that red! :stop_sign: :strawberry: :cherries:

@ Gaz. Could swear I saw that dreadnought playing soccer in an AI feature on ‘60 Minutes’ last night. Very nice work!

Those rivets really add to the look. Very industrial.

Some aliens painted and ready for the hill charge, to go along with the leviathan dreadnought and the grim guard.

I also 3d printed these few different aliens

Wow! That’s quite the creature charge about to occur! …:crab::squid::shrimp::octopus::lobster:

Did you design those aliens or were they printed from some sort of program? 3D printing is new to me and I’m impressed by what I have seen so far.

They are all free stl’s from cults 3d. You can size them to what ever size you want

The only cost was the resin and paint.

If you hear a knock on the door peep out the window and if you see an Orc in a business suit, HIDE! It’s a GW Intellectual Properties Lawyer…

These are RAD!

And if you don’t have a 3d printer you can always save up^ and buy Tyranid plastic kits…

^I say save up because of prices of GW stuff. In the old days on a GW games Usenet group there were often posts from parents saying their offspring had become interested in the game but they were concerned by the prices; the response was inevitably along the lines of “Get them hooked on hard drugs, it’s cheaper in the long run and more socially acceptable”.

Cheers,

What an absolutely fantastic scene. It was great watching it get built up and painted… loads of movement and action … just imagining that leviathan getting ready to let rip and cause total carnage on the beasties coming up the slope … brilliant !!

I was wondering how you were going to position the figs on the base and you have made a cracking job of it. Reminds me of some of the 40K artwork of desperate battles against hordes of aliens. The colors are so vibrant too- really eye catching- they sort of draw the eye up the slope toward the defenders.
