I apologize that it’s a bit late. Also I wasn’t too sure what we were doing, but I kit bashed this together. Still deciding on scheme/theme. By the way correct me if I’m wrong but I didn’t read anything about practical or realistic…
This is sci-fi, everything is practical and realistic… Nice apocalyptic feel to the Hummer.
Super realistic, Werner! I see no problems here Are you going to use it as a stand-in in WH40k?
Mmm apocalyptic… Now you’ve got me thinking…
I don’t actually play 40k. I just had a Razorback that I painted recently so used the extra parts. Great eye by the way.
I will join with this-Jedi in training from Gambody, 3D printed, I scaled down to 80% for 75-80mm height. A really nice piece from a well known scene from the Star wars. Luke training with Yoda on Dagobah.
Cheers!
Super cool figure!
Looking forward to see more.
Amazing print, it is going to look awesome painted.
@Venko i have used Gambody myself a few times and can’t fault their product files.
I agree, slightly more expensive than others, but they have very good design. My next will be their X-Wing probably.
I finally finished the model I made for the campaign. Unfortunately, my friend could not print the decal on which the name of the model was written. Therefore, I could not apply it to the vehicle. The resulting model satisfied me. Please feel free to criticise.
Very nice, congratulations on the build.
Is that Bulgarian plate markings?
Thanks for your nice comment Ryan; yes those are Bulgarian plate markings that Angel sent me. A friend of mine printed them on decal paper for me.
There’s nothing to criticise Kursat, you and finished up with a great little build and given it a lot of nice details … Very well done
Very nice, Kursat
Okay, long time viewer, first time participant here. Also branching out into the area of ‘Panzer 46’ with this kit:
Been in the stash over 15 years, time to dust it off.
Being a Paper Panzer, I am open to be able to make a few little changes I have thought of. Nothing startling though. First the exhausts, I fitted them pointing down (a la T34) instead of upwards as per usual German vehicles. This gives a nice empty space for tools to be added here, instead of on top.
Fit is typical old Trumpeter but as I plan on adding the side plates, the poor join on the suspension arms is not an issue…
but the crevasse around the driver hatch was…
The mantlet end of the RB Barrel was longer than the kit one, so a little surgery was required to fit it.
Great start Peter, looks nice and like you said, 46 Panzers allow for some nice artistic expression…
I got a bit done with the Rheintochter tonight. In fact, as I’m not actually using the Rheintochter missile… perhaps I had better rename it Rheintochter III .
Anyway I got the SA6 missiles done less the fins,
The launch rack, which will now be the transport mount for spare missiles.
I also had to blank off the Panther II turret ring with an old ID card as this is what the SA6 launcher (transport mount) will be fixed onto.
And with the transport mount mocked up.
Will only be putting minimal tools on the hull sides so no spare link mounts and no barrel cleaning rod tube. All the holes will be filled in.
My God John this is a huge project! You have what, 5 kits involved in this kitbash? This is all very inventive and is looking brilliant. It’s all definitely got that Heer '46 “Things To Come” look. Very ambitious project! It’s also got a Gerry Anderson “Thunderbirds Are Go!” look to it. Keep up the phenomenal work.
Lol cheers Matt … At times it’s be feeling like 5, but realistically it’s only 3, the King Tiger chassis, the actual Rheintochter kit (launcher and Panther II chassis) and the SAM 6 missile system, and I am going to be using parts from the Miniart 3 ton crane so we could say 3 and half kits . Biggest headache at the mo, is devising a realistic crane /moving device in and around the SAM 6 launcher assembly that would of moved the resupply missiles to the main launcher on the KT chassis …I have a plan though …
