Stunning work Thomas, a real source of inspiration
You have done her justice. Phenomenal work. The effort put into the planes was absolutely worth it.
Absolutely first rate work, Thomas!
Congrats on a superb build and commissioning!
Thank you for sharing all the ups and downs of your build!
I liked also the addition of the 2 planes flying above the base!
Fantastic job, Thomas! This unusual, colorful, and absolutely beautiful build will be the centerpiece of your collection, I am sure. Very well done indeed!
Thomas,
Congrats on a fine finish and commissioning. Really enjoying all of the detail and colors of this build.

Thomas, this truly is a masterpiece assembles by a Master Builder. Thank you!
This has been a joy to follow. This thread should be archived as a master class. Well Done!
Congrats on commissioning Thomas.
Very impressive build.
Cheers

Impressive build. Love the busy look with all the aircraft on deck. The two planes “flying” over the base is a nice touch too!
@RedDuster: Simon you told us you have the AV-1 Langley aircraft carrier lurking in stash. How many aircraft does your carrier have? “giggle”…
Hi Thomas,
Apologies for the slow response, life has got in the way of model related activities, I was in the loft getting the Christmas decorations down, took a minute dig the CV1 out. 16 aircraft, 6 F4bs 6 Dive bombers and torpedo bombers.
I do need to finish something before I can start something else.
Cheers
Si
Hallo Thomas,
auch von mir vielmals Entschuldigung - just as Si says, live has got in the way of model related activities, for me it is still moving to Berlin step by step and the new job…
Anyway, congratulations to commissioning another wonderful build, that was fun and amazing to watch throughout! Great job done my friend!
Already peeked in to your next one, will be following as well, of course - hopefully next year will bring more ship model related activity time…
