Maybe it could be like a Facebook slogan, “Enjoy looking up a few old friends…”
Or “search for dark matter “

58 here
Well here’s me 20 odd years ago with my then truck during a off-road adventure day, I’m now several kilos lighter and several years older at 56 soon turning 57.
Talking hospital and procedures, stress ECG couple of weeks ago and a Angiogram booked in for two weeks time.
I have a Cardio appointment in August. Went to the eye doctor last week.
Yup, visiting the endocrinologist this month. Comforting to know that when the kids move out, there are people who still want to visit with you…
Actually a dead ringer for Georges Clemenceau - and nice to see Penn letting his hair down on the far right, Teller took the photo right?
I’d imagine future proctologists found their calling by using the microscope in an unusually direct manner. Seriously what makes people pursue that as a career? The money would have to be stratospheric for such a sh!t job. And does anyone know a female proctologist? Asking for a friend.
After my “procedure” a couple of years ago, as I regained consciousness the guy gave me a sit-rep…yes that’s what I said, a s-i-t rep…finishing with “…and excellent preparation!” Summoning a flailing attempt at humo(u)r I replied “Yeah that was my first time, it was the reverse of the bottom falling out of my world.”
Twice I have received attention from a medical professional obviously in a foul mood.
The first was a blood bank nurse who inserted the withdrawal needle like she was hitting her husband with a frying pan.
The second was my GP giving me my second prostate exam, who gave me the finger like I was the tax man.
you know you are getting old when your doctor is more interested in your A$$ than your crotch lol
These pics were taken approx 7 years ago.
btw, Am I the youngest person in this forum? lol.
Me a long time ago. A young squad leader in Lebanon
And a more recent picture, practicing my second favourite hobby
I guess, 90 % of us here in the forum were in military service earlier or later.
Fun fact, like me, many of my friends were in the Bundeswehr in the 1980’s while others of my friends (mainly modelling friends) were in the East German Nationale Volksarmee (NVA) at the same time …
I am 58 and not a veteran like most everyone in this thread. I also don’t have a recent photo of myself as my hard drive just died a few days ago and is unrecoverable. I do have this photoshop image I made up a long time ago. The original photo of myself was from 2007. I still look somewhat the same, just add about another 10 pounds. Like most everyone my age, body aches are prevalent and I fell down a 100ft cliff and broke my right ankle in 2017.
Excellent pics.I must finish both of those tanks one of these days.
P.S I’m 61 .Don’t know if you’re the youngest, but it’s great to have such a international group.
58 in July, 2 years to retirement!
No but probably the youngest active member. We have/had an active high schooler who is also a good modeler. He is busy with military training currently.
Then you’re way past due to schedule that back door exam
