This looks much better value than the original proposed set up. Thanks ICM for listening [possibly] to feedback on ‘in process’ kits! Will look to secure one when it’s released….even though I still don’t like the use of the chef’s hat.

Link below is to the previous ‘in process’ post for this kit to highlight some of the suggestions at that time.

Looks interesting, but I’ve got a silly question. What’s the fella with the pump doing? Fuel primer or something?

I for one would like to get this kit would be a much-needed addition to my small stash.

on a side note, would a 1/35 scale truck work with this??

I believe they are gas powered units. might be a priming pump I’ve seen a few pictures of the m1937 field kitchen, and they were gas fired units.

Cool. So should it have a gas cylinder or was it fitted inside the cooker?

Isnt this the same set up they are selling mounted in a G508? Which I think is already out?

From my ancient KP days - these stoves (still in use today!) are the same as Coleman camp stoves. They run on pressurized gasoline. You fill the fuel tank 3/4 with gasoline, then you pump it up with the air pump. That produces a pressurized gas vapor that burns in the stoves.
The guy with the bicycle pump is pumping up a stove tank.
