I think the Osprey (MV22B model) was added to the Presidential fleet back in 2017.

Hasegawa makes a kit for the MV-22B in 1/72 scale. You would have to get the proper HMX-1 decals.

Apparently the Marines have 23 on order. I get what you’re saying but currently with the Seaking no US service is flying it but HMX. The Navy retired them in 2010. The 46 was retired in 2014/15.

Interesting. So figure for 3 to 6 for POTUS detail, that leaves 17-20 for other uses, including schools. When the Sea King was adopted as the VH-3, it was in widespread service with the USN, plus the very similar HH-3 in use with the USAF and USCG. With all those H-3 airframes retired, it makes sense for a new type to be put on the duty.
