Wait the Brits use the L118. Then this is a US gun.

Yes, it is a US M119A1. The British L118 has a longer barrel and different muzzle brake.

L118 on left. M119 on right. EDIT: L119 /M119 on right, see below for explanation.

EDIT: The L119 version uses semi-fixed ammo (shell, casing and separate powder charge inside the casing, like the M119) as opposed to the separate-loading cased-charge ammo of the L118. It also has the same barrel as the M119.

Maybe it comes with both barrels so you can build either version, as earlier resin kits did. (I can’t open the link at work to see any details of the kit.)

Am I the only one who really wishes that when a new 3-D Printed model is mentioned for release that they include pictures of the actual printed model instead of just the CAD images? I have trust issues and will never purchase a 3-D printed anything until I can see what it actually looks like printed. It seems that there can be varying quality across the entire hobby with 3-D printed items.

I agree. Pictures of actual pieces would be helpful.

That said, I can’t vouch directly for this kit, but i do have Spalah’s M777 crew figures and they are awesome. They look better than the CAD. I am betting the L119/M119 will be just as nice.

When I saw that they had the M777 I went directly to their website to see if I could find pictures of the actual kit. I am glad to hear your feedback and will consider that when/if I purchase it. Thank you

You are all right, this is not a British L119. There was a mistake on the boxart and the team at Spalah has sent the correct one, text is updated as well.
Sorry for the troubles!

This is a fairly new and small company that makes great and quality things, I have their products, figures and also a Rapier.
