I am not quite sure I understood the French correctly but I think it is about
the advertising on this site which is managed by Google.
Google uses rather simple algorithms to figure out which ads to show each
viewer. If the algorithm can’t figure anything out it assumes that model builders are men of certain age and the ads will be about womens underwear.
The way to get around this is to visit internet sites more in line with ones interests,
such as tools, auction sites selling hobby products, guns & ammunition, woodworking, cars, motorcycles, book shops (tends to generate a mixed assortment of books), internet hobby shops, music instruments, music records etc.
Just make sure to feed the algorithm with subjects you like to prevent it from slipping back into the defualt setting of womens underwear.
I make a habit of clicking on the type of ads I like.
Right now I see this:
I will now click on some of the items I drew a circle around, just to keep the algorithm focused …

I think there is some kind of “family friendly” setting that restricts the choices that the algorithm can make, otherwise you would get your preferred ads …

Since I’m French, one thing I can tell you is that the original post is not clear and rather insulting. It seems indeed that it’s a general complain about ads, but it’s poorly written and even I have issues to understand what the real problem is.

Yes, but it is more a way of blaming personal use of profanity on the French even if the profanity isn’t French in origin.

Interesting conversation with small amount of drama but for those whom did not have the privilege of taking French in school, it is hard to sort out the comings and goings of this discussion.

Les publicités sont soigneusement sélectionnées pour être aussi inutiles, inappropriées, voire insultantes que possible. Votre plainte prouve que l’algorithme fonctionne comme prévu.
