Stryker Upgrade and the new A1 Family

Yes, the number adds the A1 designation. An M1126 becomes and M1126A1.

The above write-up is still wrong though. It should be M1304A1 ICV (Infantry Carrier Vehicle)

When was the 7th INF DIV reactivated?

It was reactivated on October 2012 at Joint Base Lewis-McChord.

are mech, light or stryker unit
?

7ID has 2 Stryker BDEs assigned and an Aviation BDE. These units were reflagged from 2 ID in AUG '24.

So the M1304 is replacing the M1296 Dragoon?

I think so, according to the things I read on internet.

They are still in Korea but have no ground combat units assigned. They retained their support units and Aviation BDE. They have a BDE rotating in for 12 mos at a time to provide ground troops.

so they lost all thier Abrams and Bradleys?

Not sure. I think the rotational units fall in on equipment in country.

Do the new M1304s have twin ATGM launchers on their new turrets for Javelin ATGMs? Some articles say “No” and one article says, “Yes.” Thanks.
