Nice catch… I missed that. I will lightly dry brush some xf 84 cold iron over the inside
Thanks @Spitfire and Ryan @Tank_1812 … much appreciated guys. Thanks the support
A very nice looking Eagle indeed!!
The cockpit, the camo, the engine work WOW! Those exhausts look like they are fired up and glowing… very cool.
Other than the canopy seam line it looks great. You put a tremendous amount of hours into this. The ordinance look terrific and I love the look of the engine section and all the tiny details. Thanks for sticking too it.
Apologies Mike, I missed your reply mate … Thanks for the kind words
Thanks HG for the very appreciated input … Seeing what you build makes it all the more appreciated
The canopy was a shame …I will do a bit of research into getting rid of seams in the future as that does spoil the overall look. Thanks again.
Looks fantastic John, nicely done. Thanks for the blog too, its been great to follow
I haven’t had to remove one yet but I would strongly recommend Micromesh
The canopy on my Avenger build has some scuffs and Micromesh took easy care of them.
- Remove seam by gently scraping with brand new number 11
- Sand with progressively finer grits working f from like 800 or 1200 to 4000 or so
- Use Micromesh which goes up to like 15000 grit
Thanks Tim and glad it wasn’t to boring for the Air chaps
Thanks Mead, will try that and see how I get on…
