That's not a big plane, *this* is a big plane

Well, I didn’t make it to extended finishing line and I don’t know how much time I would need to comlete Lancaster (I think I ran out of mojo for this one :frowning: ). So I think it’s time to call it unfinished and move it to Hangar Queens thread.I hope that 11months will be more than enough to finish it …, or I’ll buy bigger thrash bin to fit it there

You did a good job so far, im sure the Lancaster will turn out great. I have the same problem, I HAVE to truck along, because the moment I stop, the poor 3M will stay in the pyle of shame forever.

Hello,

Happy New Year 2024!

I’m back at my workbench, but too late to finish this campaign.

I wanted to share the latest developments on my EC-121. It is ready for painting.

For the livery, I’m going to put my plotter to work and make the markings for an EC-121D from Operation College Eye.

Yeah, same here, I’m going to complete the Lanc, or at least go as far as I can with that, but truth is (in my case) I have also to switch to other topics otherwise I’ll loose my mojo completely and that is hard to restore.

So Jacob, see you in Hangar Queens?

Here is the list of folks that completed this build. Please let me know if I missed anyone.

Well trere are a LOT more candidates for Hangar Queen. No Radek, I have the finish this one, I HAVE TO ! The main wheels are in place, I cheated a bit, so that they dont break under the weight of the kit, so they are not 100% correct. First coat of white is on and as can be seen Im back to sanding some parts again…

Sooo after a month there is another update. The basic camo is on, there is some postshading still to be done on the underside, but I can see the finish line now !
